Doc Parsley and I are back with another video – this time short but sweet and we talk all about stress and sleep, and how these two little words like to dance together – sometimes in a not so graceful sort of way.
I’m a victim of the vicious “stress and (lack) of sleep” cycle. I’ve lived it – past and currently present (although I’m getting that in check NOW), and I’m sure I will live it again in the future.
If you are reading this, raise your hand if you haven’t noticed a distinct correlation in being stressed out of your mind and your inability to get a good nights sleep? Holy guacamole, look at that sea of hands raised high – I can see ALL of you from right here behind my computer screen!! So, what the heck do you do about it? Run off to Fiji? Exercise your stressed out body into some sort of sleepy submission? Drink excessive amounts of wine in order to go to sleep? I’ve tried all of those tools (except for the run off to Fiji part, which still could happen…) but the reality is, all of those ideas are quick and temporary fixes that really do not help at ALL when it comes to truly mitigating stress and managing sleep.
In this video, Doc Parsley and I discuss this subject in quick but succinct detail and I HOPE this information helps YOU to get a better nights sleep – and will give you some tools to de-stress without giving in to the bucket of wine tactic, or an unnecessary ass whooping in the gym.
