Better Everyday Podcast Episode #17: Krista Scott Dixon Talks Resiliency

The podcast can officially be over now cuz it’s going to be hard to top this episode. OK this won’t be the last episode – promise! But today we we have Dr Brooke’s spirit animal: the one, the only, The KSD.

Krista Scott-Dixon (or Dr. Krista Scott-Dixon to be exact) joins Dr Brooke today to talk all about resiliency. How you get through stuff, how you grow, how you weather the storm, how you be all like a rubber band and get totally stretched to the max and somehow bounce back. Resiliency, hardiness and how you should spend your “care units”.  We also talk about Grandma Ruby, who will quite possibly be your new hero.

In addition to being one of the smartest, sanest women in nutrition and training world, Krista has a knack for dropping these little zen bombs. I told my husband all I wanted for Christmas was to somehow be able to carry Krista around in my pocket. Listen and you’ll see why.

Krista has an amazing blog at Stumptuous.com and she is a key team member at the incredible Precision Nutrition where she creates much of the training for the growing tribe of PN Coaches.
