  1. Random question….what is your view on the Master Cleanse or lemonade diet? I know Mark from the Primal Blueprint encourages IF (intermittent fasting) how do the two differ?

    1. Hi Becky,
      The two differ A LOT. When doing the Master Cleanse, aka the lemonade diet it’s not a natural cyclical fasting phase but intentional starvation along with putting tons of stress on the body. Our bodies do a great job of “de-toxing” all on their own without having to starve for days with only some lemon water to drink. The idea behind de-toxing is to rid our bodies of the chemicals and toxins we take in from stuff like alcohol, cigarettes, and processed foods. Better in my opinion to avoid that stuff as much as possible, eat a healthy paleo diet, and let your body take care of itself. Robb Wolf has tons of great info on his site about intermittent fasting as does Mark if you wanted to explore that idea further! Hope that helps!! : )

I just wanted to let you know that I made a “paleo version” of the Meyer Lemon Chicken Picatta in this month’s Cooking Light magazine, and well, yours blew Cooking Light’s out of the water! My non-paleo husband agreed. So keep up the good work! We have loved all of your recipes. 🙂

    I was searching in google about fitness and a blog referred your website.

    What grab my attention here is that, the word PALEO?

    I’m from the Philippines, and sorry for my ignorance, I don’t know what is Paleo is. So what is it? Does it help in losing weight? I thought it was sea food, but it sounds like vegetables and I don’t like veges.

    I’ve been over weight since I was around 10 I think. Now I am 23, got my BMI and I’m obese. So yeah, that’s why I was looking for fitness. I need some changes and improvements. 🙂
