Love the podcast! Great topics. In a recent podcast Sarah, you mentioned active release technique for a listener. I just wanted to give my positive feedback to you that I had that done a few years ago for a very painful shoulder that had limited movement. You had mentioned it at that time on your previous podcast with Jason. Kept me from steroids and surgery and my shoulder is still pain free and functional to this day. Like you mentioned, it is painful to get the ART treatment but so worth it. Glad you mentioned it again in this podcast because it works. Keep up the good work you two!
So happy to hear ART saved you from surgery! It’s so effective I wish more people would go that route first – but as with most mainstream medical recommendations – most orthopedic surgeons don’t even know to suggest it. Thanks so much for listening and I’m happy to hear you are enjoying the podcast!
I just listened to the podcast Episode 21 and really enjoyed the discussion about weight training and running. On that episode you both suggested doing some sprints instead of long distance running. What are some good sprint workouts you both like do?
I am in the midst of changing my workout routine to weight training 3-4 times a week and running maybe only 2 x a week. So I am curious about the sprinting suggestion!
Please can you recommend a bio identical hormone doctor in NYC?
